Remove the plastic cap that covers the card readers on top.
Remove the 3 Phillips screws that hold the back cover.
Step 3 Back cover
Disassemble the back cover all the way around with the opening tool.
Step 4
By separating the back cover it is possible that the speakers stick to it; If this is the case, remove them to separate the lid.
Step 5 Battery
Disconnect the LCD data flex, by pulling on the tab of the connector and gently pulling the cable. Then take off the flex of the battery, held by adhesive tape.
Step 6
Remove the adhesive covering the battery connector.
Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
Step 7 Microphone
Separate the microphone from the housing, pulling gently on the cable.
Step 8
Unsolder the cables at the end of the motherboard. For this, apply heat to the tin with the tip of the soldering iron while gently pulling the cable.
Step 9
Wipe off the remains of tin on the base plate with the desoldering mesh.
To do this drag the mesh over the tin while applying heat with the tip of the soldering iron; the molten tin will stick to the mesh.
