Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Samsung Galaxy View (SM-T670)

Characteristics:
Dimensions: 454.7 x 275.8 x 11.9 mm.
SoC: Samsung Exynos 7 Ocia 7580.
Processor: ARM Cortex-A53, 1600 MHz, Number of cores: 8.
Graphic processor: ARM Mali-T720 MP2, 600 MHz, Number of cores 2.
RAM memory: 2 GB, 933 MHz.
Internal memory: 32 GB, 64 GB.
Memory cards: microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC.
Display: 18.4 in., TFT, 1920 x 1080 pixels, 24 bit.

Operating system: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

We will start by removing the back support. For this we will slide the pins that we will find in the union with the housing and we can remove it.

Step 2 Remove SD card

In the back we will find a cover, which we will slide to get to the SD card. To withdraw it, we will press and it will be automatically expelled.

Step 3 Housing screws

In the case we will find four Phillips screws (PH # 00) which we will remove to be able to remove it.

Step 4 Remove back casing

Now, to remove the case, we will leverage with the help of an opening tool. We will slide this between the frame and the casing to release the notches that hold it.

Step 5 Remove screws

In this step we remove the twenty-four screws that hold the chassis to the frame, to later remove it.

Step 6 Disconnect components

Before removing the chassis, we will have to disconnect certain components. We will disconnect the flex from the touch screen and the LCD display. We will also disconnect the flex that connects with the flexes of the buttons and we will take off the microphone, flash and camera plate.

Now we can remove the chassis with the components.

Step 7 Separate screen

Now we will heat the screen to soften the adhesive and thus it will be easier for us to take it off later. We will use the heat gun since due to the size of the device, it seems the most appropriate.

With the hot screen, we will slide a prong or other opening tool, all around the contour so that it is detached from the frame.

Step 8 Display LCD

Finally, we will finish removing the adhesive in the area of ??the flex and then we will slide it through the hole in the frame.

Now, we can remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the display to the frame.
