Remove the 2 Phillips screws that secure the back cover.
Step 4
To disassemble the back cover, we use this opening tool type "cortapizzas". With the plastic head we make sure not to scratch the casing.
Step 5
Peel off the speakers to separate the back cover.
Step 6 Touch screen flex
Remove the adhesive covering the connector.
Unplug the flex from the base plate, by pulling on the tab of the connector and pulling gently.
Step 7 Cameras
Remove the adhesive that covers the flexes of the cameras.
Step 8
Unplug the flex on the motherboard, by operating the tab on the connector.
Remove the small plastic frame and take off the flex with the cameras.
Step 9
Remove the adhesive covering the side of the motherboard.
Disconnect the flex of the LCD on the motherboard.
Take off the microphone to separate it next to the motherboard.
Step 10 Battery
To detach the battery, insert a plastic spatula underneath and press laterally to release the adhesive.
Step 11 Base plate screws
Remove the 7 Phillips screws that hold the motherboard and the push buttons.
Step 12 Wifi antenna
Take off the wifi antenna.
Step 13
Remove the base plate next to the components to access the display.
Step 14 Display
Remove the 3 metal anchors that secure the display to the frame. Each of them has 2 Phillips screws.
Step 15
Separate the display from the plastic frame by holding it with a suction cup, and prying it gently on the plastic hooks.
