Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Take off screen

We started by heating the screen at about 60ºC for about a minute, to soften the adhesive. With the hot screen, we introduce a flat tool between it and the frame. Sliding it around the contour we will take it off.

We will take care in the left part and in the inferior part, since we can damage some flex.

Step 2 Disconnect screen

Remove the shields covering the connectors, levering and releasing the notches that hold it. Then we disconnected the screen to be able to move it away.

Step 3 Remove heatsink

We remove the shielding that covers the processor to be able to remove the dissipator. Then we removed the four Torx T5 screws that hold the heatsink in the processor part and the remaining six Torx T4 screws.

Step 4 Remove front camera

We remove the armor that covers the connectors of the cameras and disconnect the front camera to separate it.

Step 5 Rear camera

Remove the two Torx T4 screws that hold the camera to the chassis and disengage it.
