Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Tray

To begin, we will remove the card tray.

Step 2 Back case

We unhook all the edges of the back cover with a flat tool.

Step 3 Battery shield and flex

We take off the adhesive that is located above the shield, we remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield, and with the help of a flat tool we will unhook the battery connector.

Step 4 Vibrator and adhesives

Desolder the vibrator, remove the stickers, and disconnect the flex of the card reader from the motherboard.

Step 5 Card reader

Remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the damaged reader, and with the help of tweezers we extract it.
