Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

We must start by applying heat to the back cover, then introduce a thin tool to go unpinning all the edges of the casing.

Step 2 Fingerprint Flex

We disconnected the interconnection flex between the fingerprint reader and the motherboard.

Step 3 We disconnected battery

Remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield that protects the battery connector and the interconnection flex. We remove the shielding and disconnect the battery to avoid possible damage.

Step 4 Intermediate housing

Remove the eight Phillips screws (PH # 00) and unhook the shield covering the screen connector and the intermediate housing.

Step 5 Motherboard with rear cameras

Remove the front camera, disconnect all components that are connected to the motherboard, remove the tray from the cards, and with the help of a fine tool we can unhook the motherboard.

Step 6 Push buttons and side keys

With the help of flat tweezers we will remove the plastic cover that covers the buttons and we will take off the contact area, and with a finer tool we will take off the buttons and at the same time the keys will come out.

Step 7 Handset

We take off the receiver.

Step 8 Speaker with vibrator

Remove the eight Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the loudspeaker module that has the vibrator attached.

Step 9 Interconnection Flex

We disconnected the interconnection flex from the auxiliary plate.

Step 10 Coaxial cable and auxiliary plate

Remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the auxiliary plate, unhook the coaxial cable, and with the help of a flat tool unhook the auxiliary plate.

Step 11 Fullscreen

To finish we only have to take off the battery of the screen that we are going to replace.
