To begin, we must apply heat to the back cover to soften the adhesive, and with the help of a suction cup and a very fine tool we will open a small hole through which we will insert a plastic spike, and thus we will avoid scratching the case.
Step 2 Intermediate housing
We extract the seventeen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the case, we will also remove the card tray, and with the help of a flat tool we will unhook all the sides of the case.
Step 3 Intermediate housing
We disconnect the battery and the fingerprint reader.
Step 4 Frontal camera
We disconnect and remove the front camera.
Step 5 Rear cameras
We disconnected all the rear cameras to avoid damaging them when handling the motherboard.
Step 6 base plate
We disconnect the interconnection flex, the coaxial cable, and peel off the adhesive that joins the base plate and the earphone, and with the help of a flat-tipped tool we will carefully lift the base plate.
Step 7 Side pushbuttons
We take off the flex from the side buttons.
Step 8 Handset
We take off the area of the headset contacts with flat tweezers, and the headset with a thin metal tool.
Step 9 Battery
We take off the battery with the help of the adhesive strips that are available, and then we will take off the adhesive that is underneath.
Step 10 Interconnection flex and coaxial cable
We disconnect and remove the coaxial cable from the flex bridge that joins the auxiliary plate and the motherboard.
Step 11 Speaker
We remove the speaker with the help of a flat tool.
Step 12 Auxiliary board
We disconnect the flex from the screen, and with the help of a flat tool we will remove the auxiliary plate.
Step 13 Fullscreen
To finish, we will only have to take off the vibrator from the damaged screen that we have to replace.
