Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Woxter Zielo Z-420 HD

Characteristics:
Dimensions: 145 x 72.8 x 7.9 mm.
Weight: 130 g.
Screen: IPS HD 5 inches, 1280x720p.
Processor: Quad core 1.3GHz, Mali 400MP GPU.
Memory: 16 GB, RAM: 1GB, microSD up to 32GB.
Front camera : 2 mpx.
Rear camera: 13 mpx autofocus.
Battery: Li-ion 2000 mAh.
Operating system: Android 4.4 Kit-kat.

Step 2 Remove back cover

We will start by removing the back cover. With an opening tool, we will disengage it from the intermediate housing.

Step 3 Remove cards and battery

The next thing will be to remove the battery and the SIM and SD cards. This step can be done using the opening tool or simply the fingers.

Step 4 Screws and intermediate housing

To remove the intermediate housing, first remove the ten Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold it and then unhook it with the help of a pick or other opening tool.

Step 5 Base plate screws and disconnect components

In order to remove the motherboard and access the rear camera, we will remove the 2 Phillips screws (PH # 00) and then disconnect and detach the components.

In this step we disconnect the flex from the LCD display.

Step 6 Disconnect components

Now we will disconnect the flex from the touch screen, take off the flex pushbuttons, the headset and the flex of front buttons.

With all the components detached from the chassis we can remove the plate.

Step 7 Desoldering components

Now we desoldamos the flex of frontal buttons, the flex of lateral pulsers and the module of SIM cards and microSD.

Step 8 Motherboard

To finish, we desoldamos the sensor and the cameras. We already have the motherboard without components.

Now we will clean the welds with the desoldering mesh and the flux stir.
