Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove back cover and battery

We start by removing the back cover with the help of an opening tool or directly with your hands. Then, in the same way, we remove the battery.

Step 2 Take off touch screen

We will heat the screen to soften the adhesive and it will be easier to remove it.

Once hot, we introduce a spike between the screen and the frame to take it off.

We will be careful in the upper left because there is the flex of the digitizer.

Step 3 Separate screen

With a card or a very flexible and fine tool, we will take off the display introducing this one below, very carefully so that it does not scratch.

Once the display is separated, we will disconnect it from the motherboard in order to remove the screen.

Step 4 Remove chassis

We took out the seventeen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the chassis to the intermediate casing and unlocked it.

Step 5 Removing the motherboard

To remove the motherboard, simply remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds it and then disengage it.

Step 6 Separate screen

Now we take off and disengage the frame of the intermediate casing. We will be careful with the keys since they will fall when dismantling it.

Step 7 Handset

To finish, we remove the cover that covers the headset and we take it off the casing.
