Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Card reader

To start we will remove the card reader with an extraction tool.

Step 2 Back case

We apply heat to the back shell with a thermal mat for a few minutes, in order to soften the adhesive that holds it, and with the help of a thin enough metal tool, we will open a small hole through which we will introduce a plastic pick, with which will be easier to peel off the edges of the housing without damaging it.

Step 3 Intermediate housing

We remove the twenty Phillips screws (PH # 00), and, making a small lever with a fine plastic tool, we remove the intermediate casing.

Step 4 Disconnect battery

We disconnect the battery at the top to work with greater security. And when we remove the speaker we will disconnect the battery at the bottom as well.

Step 5 Frontal camera

With the help of a fine plastic tool, we remove the adhesive from the front camera, disconnect it and remove it.

Step 6 Disconnect rear cameras

We disconnect the rear cameras with the help of a fine plastic tool.

Step 7 Components

In this step we will disconnect, with the help of a fine plastic tool, the screen flex, interconnection flex, charging connector flex and the three coaxial cables.

Step 8 Rear cameras

We remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the motherboard and with the help of a fine plastic tool we remove the cameras.

Step 9 Base plate

Finally, we pry it out with a fine plastic tool and remove the motherboard.
