Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 SIM tray

With a SIM removal tool we remove the SIM tray.

Step 2 Back case

We apply heat to the back case for two minutes to eighty degrees.

We introduce a metallic prong between the central housing and the rear housing, we exchange it with a plastic prong so as not to scratch any housing.

We will do all the contour taking off the back cover completely.

Step 3 Fingerprint reader

We remove the housing that protects the flex from the fingerprint reader and disconnect it. We remove the back cover.

Step 4 Intermediate housing

Unscrew the Pentalobe screws (TS3) that hold the intermediate casing and remove it.

Step 5 Cameras

We disconnect and remove the cameras.

Step 6 Components

We disconnect the flex from the screen, the interconnection, the battery, the coaxial cable and the side button.

Step 7 Motherboard

Unscrew the Pentalobe screws (TS3) that hold the motherboard and remove it.

Step 8 Drums

We take off the battery and remove it.

Step 9 screen

We apply heat to the screen for two minutes to eighty degrees.

We introduce a metallic prong between the central housing and the screen, we will exchange it with a plastic prong so as not to scratch the housing. We will do all the contour taking off the screen completely.

We will take off the flex from the screen of the central case and remove the screen completely.

Step 10 Side push button

Unscrew the Pentalobe screw (TS3) that holds the metal plate of the side button and remove it.

We take off the side button and remove it.
