Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back cover

To open the back cover simply pass the tip of a prong between the cover and the housing, moving it around the contour. You will hear "clicks" as you release it.

Step 2

Once released, remove the lid.

Step 3 SIM card

Press the card with your finger to eject it.

Step 4 Housing screws

Remove the 14 Torx screws from the housing.

Step 5 housing

Separate the housing using the opening tool all around.

Step 6

Remove the casing.

Step 7 Battery

Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

Step 8

The battery is stuck to the shields of the motherboard.

Insert the tip of a plastic tool from behind and push it with lever movements.

Step 9 Frontal camera

Remove the plastic tape covering the connector and operate the clip.

Remove the camera by pulling it gently.
