We start by removing the back cover using a plastic tool to avoid damage. By levering, we will disengage the casing from the notches that hold it.

We take out the SIM and microSD cards. We will also remove the fourteen Torx screws that hold the casing. We will not remove it yet because the battery is attached to the housing and connected to the board.

Leveraging with a plastic tool, we will unhook the notches that hold this casing.

We disconnect the battery from the motherboard to be able to separate the housing.

With the help of a spatula we can help eliminate the adhesive that holds the battery.
