LG G2 - Bottom flex with charging connector, audio output and microphone

Guide with all the steps necessary for you to change the lower flex yourself with charging connector, audio output and microphone of the LG G2 (D802).

Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 SIM tray

Before starting make sure that the mobile is off.

Remove the SIM tray.

Step 2 Back cover

Remove the back cover with the opening tool, this will prevent scratches on the housing.

Step 3 Intermediate housing

Remove the 7 Phillips screws (red) that hold the intermediate housing and the 5 screws (purple) of the lower module.

Separate the intermediate housing with the opening tool.

Step 4 Lower module (antenna and speaker)

Remove the lower speaker and antenna module.

Step 5

Disconnect the interconnection flexes from the motherboard.

Peel off the contacts on the left side of the battery that are part of the left flex.

Step 6 Battery

Peel off the battery with the opening tool, prying gently.

Step 7 Antenna coaxial cables

Remove the antenna coaxial cables.

Step 8 Bottom flex with charging connector, audio output and microphone

Disconnect the flexes from the bottom plate.

Step 9

Finally take off the bottom plate of the chassis.
