Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Battery cover

Remove the battery cover using a plastic opening tool, it will avoid scratching or damaging the equipment.

Step 2

Step 3 Battery

Remove the battery by pulling on the top.

Step 4 SIM card

Remove the SIM card by pushing it out with your finger.

Step 5 Micro SD card

Remove the micro SD card by pulling it.

Step 6 Intermediate housing

The casing is held by:

  • 8 Torx screws
  • 1 Phillips screw

Step 7

Separate the casing little by little, using the opening tool.

Step 8 Rear camera

Unplug the camera and pull it gently to remove it.

Step 9 Motherboard.

Disconnect the data cable from the display and the flex from the side buttons.

Step 10

Separate the housing plate bit by bit with the opening tool. It is glued with double-sided tape, you will have to take it off with lever movements.

Step 11

Once detached from the chassis, separate the base plate.

Step 12 Handset

Peel off the handset and remove it with a pair of needle nose pliers.
