Step 2 Front housing with power button

To open the case, we will help you with the opening tools. We will start at one of the corners and follow the contour, so we will unhook the notches that hold it.

Step 3 Remove back casing

After removing the front cover, we find the shielding of the base plate. Remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) and remove the shield to which the motherboard and all the components are attached.

Be careful not to break the push button flex that is fitted in the housing. The microphone should disengage only.

Step 4 Remove screws

Now we will proceed to remove the screws of the camera sensor flex and the auxiliary plate which we will disengage from the shield.

Step 5 Remove auxiliary plate and camera sensor flex

To remove the flex with camera sensor, remove the rubber covering the connector and disconnect it. We will do the same with the auxiliary plate as we showed in the photos.

Step 6 Separate motherboard and shield

Now we will disengage the base plate of the shield.

Step 7 Motherboard

With our soldering iron with magnifier and clamp desoldering the microphone will be a breeze!

We already have the plate without components!
