Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 LG G Pad 10.1

Dimensions: 260.9 x 165.9 x 8.9mm.
Weight: 523g.
Screen: 1280 x 800 pixels, 10.1 inches.
Memory: microSD up to 64GB, 16GB internal memory, 1GB RAM.
Processor: Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, Adreno 305.
Front camera : 1.3MP.
Rear camera : 5MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels.
Battery: Standard, Li-Ion 8000 mAh.
Operating system: Android OS, v4.4.2 KitKat.

Step 2 Back case

Before starting to disassemble the tablet (and although we do not show it) we must remove the SD card in case it is inside.

To remove the back cover we will use an opening tool, which we will insert between the screen and the casing to unhook it from the notches that hold it.

Step 3 Take off the back cover

After having unhooked the case we will have to take it off. This brings a band of glue in the middle (as we showed in the third image) which we will take off with a longer and thin spatula.

Step 4 Disconnect speakers

To remove the left loudspeaker (the right one if we see it from the back) we will first have to remove the screws that hold it, disconnect it from the interconnection flex and disengage it from under the base plate.

Step 5 Disconnect speakers

To remove the right speaker, we will first disconnect the cable from the interconnection flex. After unhooking the cable, we remove the screw that holds the speaker and we can remove it.
