Before starting make sure the tablet is turned off.
Remove the back cover with the plastic opening tool, this will avoid damaging or scratching the equipment.
Step 2 Battery
Remove the adhesive covering the connector.
Disconnect the battery.
Step 3 Rear camera
Disconnect the camera from the motherboard.
Take it off by pushing it with the plastic tool.
Step 4 Antenna
Remove the 2 Phillips screws that hold the antenna.
Disconnect the flex cable by pulling on the tab of the connector and pulling gently on it.
Step 5
Disconnect the coaxial cable from the motherboard.
Pull it to release it from its hooks.
Step 6 Motherboard
Disconnect the flex cable from the digitizer (touch) by pulling on the tab of the connector and gently pulling on the cable.
Step 7
Remove the adhesive covering the display connector on the motherboard.
Disconnect the flex cable by pulling on the tab of the connector and pulling gently on it.
Step 8
Disconnect the interconnect flex at the end of the motherboard.
Step 9
Remove the black pad that covers 2 of the screws on the motherboard.
Remove the 6 Phillips screws from the motherboard and the one holding the right speaker (marked blue).
Step 10
Remove the left speaker screw and remove it from the housing.
Step 11
Peel off the right speaker and the vibrator.
Step 12
Separate the base plate with the components attached to it.
If the new motherboard does not come with the components (speakers and vibrator), continue with the following steps to desolder them and install them on the new board.
Step 13
Unsolder the components of the base plate by supporting the tip of the soldering iron and gently pulling the cable.
Step 14
Install the components on the new motherboard.
