In order to remove the back cover, first remove the cover where the camera lens is located.
Step 2 Remove back casing
We took out the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the back shell. To dislodge it, we introduce a flat tool between it and the frame and prying it loose from the notches that hold it.
Step 3 Components
Remove the adhesives that cover the components and remove them.
We take off the battery, remove the speaker, disengage the microphone, the vibrator and the button flex.
Step 4 Components
We disconnect the flex from the digitizer and the LCD display. Remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the plate and remove the adhesive that sticks to the display. Now we can remove it together with the other components.
Step 5 Display LCD
It is only necessary to release the notches that hold the display to be able to remove it.
