Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove back cover

In order to remove the back cover, first remove the cover where the camera lens is located.

Step 2 Remove back casing

We took out the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the back shell. To dislodge it, we introduce a flat tool between it and the frame and prying it loose from the notches that hold it.

Step 3 Speaker

Remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the speaker stand and remove it.

All that remains is to desolder the motherboard speaker.
