Remove the microSD and SIM cards

We will take advantage of the opening to start disassembling the back cover.

Step 3

Use the special metal spatula for mobile phones.

Release the plastic tabs located around the contour of the phone.

Step 4

Do not damage or bend the 2 metal contacts located at the bottom and top respectively.

Step 5 Screws

Remove all Torx screws, 10 in total.

Step 6 Battery

Remove the adhesive covering the connectors on the motherboard.

Step 7

Unplug and detach the flex from the motherboard.

Step 8

The battery is well attached to the phone's chassis. Use a suitable tool to pry until you get it off.

Step 9 Baseboard connectors

Disconnect the remaining flexes on the motherboard.

Step 10 Lower module (antenna and speaker)

Separate the lower module.

Step 11 Side button flex

Unplug the lower end of the flex from side buttons.

Step 12

Take off the flex from the chassis.

Step 13

Remove the adhesive that holds the motherboard.

Step 14 Antena LTE

Separate the LTE antenna, detaching it from the motherboard.

Step 15 Motherboard

Peel off the base plate, united only by the blue thermal paste.

Step 16 Vibrator and antenna flex

Unplug and take off the vibrator.

Step 17

Finally take off the antenna and microphone flex.

Step 18 screen

The screen is attached to the chassis with a thin strip of adhesive around the contour.

We will apply heat in order to soften the glue.

If you use our Hot Glass, simply insert it in the microwave for a couple of minutes (see instructions) and once hot apply directly on the screen.

Step 19

Insert the tip of the prong between the screen and the chassis, taking advantage of the hole in the handset.

Move the tine towards the sides to detach the upper part of the screen and make sure before proceeding that the tine passes behind the LCD and not just the glass.

Step 20

Traverse the contour with the prong, taking off the adhesive.

Care at the bottom, do not cut the data flex with the tine.

Step 21

Finally separate the chassis, carefully passing the flex data cable.
