Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

To begin we must apply heat to the back cover, and with the help of a fine tool we will take off the casing a little, being careful not to damage it, and to avoid damaging it we will introduce some plastic prongs, with which it is less likely to scratch the casing.

Step 2 Screws

We remove the fifteen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the loudspeaker module and the upper casing, and uncoupling them with a flat tool.

Step 3 We disconnected battery

We disconnected the battery to avoid possible damage.

Step 4 Frontal camera

We disconnect and remove the front camera.

Step 5 Components

We disconnected from the base plate the flex of the ignition button and the flex of the screen.

Step 6 Audio connector

We disconnect and extract the audio connector.

Step 7 Motherboard

Remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard, and remove the tray from the cards before lifting the motherboard.

Step 8 Handset

To finish, with the help of flat clamps we will take off the broken handset that we are going to replace.
