Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

To begin we will apply heat to the back cover, and with the help of a suction cup we will gently lift the casing until it allows us to introduce a fine metal spike, and once we introduce that spike, it will be easier for us to introduce a plastic spike thicker to take off all the edges.

Step 2 Screws

We remove the fifteen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that we pointed out in the first photograph of this step, and with the help of a flat tool we will disengage the upper and lower casings.

Step 3 Components

Disconnect all components that are connected to the motherboard, and remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard.

Step 4 Motherboard

We remove the tray from the cards, and with the help of a flat tool we will unhook the motherboard.

Step 5 Handset

To finish we will take off the handset that we are going to replace with the help of a pair of tweezers.
