Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

First of all, we must apply heat to the back cover to soften the adhesive that holds the case, and with the help of one or more plastic spikes we will take off all the edges of the case.

Step 2 Camera lens

We extract the five Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the trim, and with the help of a flat-tipped tool we will lift it.

Step 3 Intermediate housing

We remove the twelve Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate casing, but before starting to unhook it we must extract the card tray, and then with the help of one or more prongs we will unhook all the edges of the casing.

Step 4 We disconnect the battery

We disconnect the battery to work with greater safety.

Step 5 Frontal camera

We peel off the adhesive that is above the front camera, and with the help of a flat tool we will disconnect and remove it.

Step 6 Fingerprint reader

We disconnect and remove the fingerprint reader.

Step 7 Rear cameras

We disconnected and removed all the rear cameras.

Step 8 base plate

We disconnect the components that remain connected to the motherboard, and with the help of a flat tool we can lift it and remove the plate.

Step 9 Volume pushbuttons

With the help of tweezers we will remove the adhesive that covers the pushbuttons, with a metal spatula we will remove the area of the contacts, and with the help of a thin metal spike we will detach the area of the contacts, and we can place the new flex from which Let's have it in place, but not before having cleaned the remains of the previous adhesives.
