Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove back cover

We start by removing the back cover. To do this we introduce an opening tool between it and the housing. Sliding it around the contour will disengage it.

Step 2 Remove battery

We disengage the battery by levering through the hole it brings for this purpose.

Step 3 Remove internal casing

Remove the seven Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the casing and disengage it.

Step 4 Disconnect screen

We remove the lower module to disconnect the digitizer flex from the auxiliary board.

Be careful as the speaker is attached to the auxiliary plate and the module to break when dismantling.

Step 5 Removing the motherboard

Now we take off the push button flex from the side of the chassis and then disconnect the components.

We remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the plate to the chassis and lift it to disconnect the coaxial antenna cable.

Step 6 Fullscreen

We heat the screen at about 65 ° C for about a minute to soften the adhesive.

With the hot screen, we slide a flat opening tool between it and the frame to take it off. Before separating the screen, we will slide the flex cables through the holes in the chassis.
