Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Tray

To begin with, we remove the tray from the cards with the help of the extraction tool.

Step 2 Back case

With a thin enough tool we will unhook all the edges of the back cover, then we must remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that holds the shield that protects the connectors, and disconnect the fingerprint reader.

Step 3 Side push buttons

We disconnect the flex with the side buttons.

It would not be necessary to take them off.

Step 4 Components

We disconnect the flex from the screen, and the interconnection flex.

Step 5 Superior antenna

We extract the five Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the upper antenna and we can unhook it.

Step 6 Components

We disconnect the flex from the digitizer, and the coaxial cable.

Step 7 Motherboard

Once all the components that were connected to the motherboard have been disconnected, we will remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard and we can remove it.

Step 8 Handset

With the help of a fine metal spike, we took off the broken handset that we are going to replace.
