Step 1 Asus Zenfone 5 LTE

Before you start, make sure your mobile is turned off.

Step 2 Back cover

Remove the back cover with a plastic opening tool, thus avoiding scratches on the housing.

Step 3 SIM and SD cards

Remove the SIM and SD cards.

Step 4

Remove the 13 Phillips screws that secure the middle housing.

Note that one of them is covered with a seal of guarantee with the word " Seal ".

Step 5

Remove the intermediate housing, releasing the plastic hooks located around the contour.

Step 6 SIM card reader

Remove the adhesive covering the connector on the motherboard.

Unplug the flex from the SIM reader, by pulling the connector tab and gently pulling the flex.

Also undo the lower end of the flex.

Step 7

Finally, take off the flex from the battery shield.
