Step 1 Asus Zenfone 5 LTE

Before you start, make sure your mobile is turned off.

Step 2 Back cover

Remove the back cover with a plastic opening tool, thus avoiding scratches on the housing.

Step 3 SIM and SD cards

Remove the SIM and SD cards.

Step 4

Remove the 13 Phillips screws that secure the middle housing.

Note that one of them is covered with a seal of guarantee with the word " Seal ".

Step 5

Remove the intermediate housing, releasing the plastic hooks located around the contour.

Step 6 Volume and ignition pushbuttons

Unplug the flex from the push buttons on the base plate, by pulling on the tab of the connector and pulling gently.

Step 7 Touch screen flex

Peel off the adhesive covering the touch screen data flex connector.

Unplug it, by pulling on the connector tab and pulling gently.

Step 8 Motherboard connections

Peel off the adhesives that cover the connectors of the interconnection and display flexes.

Step 9

Unplug the flexes on the motherboard.

Step 10

Disconnect the battery.

Disconnect the upper end of the coaxial cable.

Step 11

Separate the base plate.

To avoid damage to the equipment, we recommend the use of antistatic protection to handle plates and integrated circuits.

Step 12 Cameras

Peel off the adhesive covering the front camera connector.

Finally, unplug and remove the front camera.
